EHR (Electronic Health Record)

An EHR (Electronic Health Record) is an electronic version of your medical records. Unlike an EMR, which contains information from a single provider and is often specialized or siloed to a single treatment, an EHR contains health-related information on an individual that is created and gathered cumulatively across more than one healthcare organization.

Some have said that an EHR is an EMR with interoperability.
